Janet Amico, President
Ms. Amico brings a wealth of international business experience to the company in the areas of international trade and technology. Prior to the founding of GTS, Ms. Amico was principal of a trading firm designing and manufacturing gifts and decorative accessories in China for distributors and retailers worldwide. Previously with China Systems Corporation for seven years, she was instrumental in the growth of this trade finance software provider as Vice President and then Senior Vice President of the International Division. Ms. Amico was responsible for overseeing the activities of the Marketing, Product Support and Documentation departments of the company. She was also responsible for strategic planning, corporate administration and contractual affairs for the firm. Earlier, she was a systems consultant with Bank of America in Hong Kong and Marketing Analyst for TRW in Boston. Ms. Amico holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA.
Dan Mathews, Senior Vice President & COO
Mr. Mathews has extensive experience in business analysis, software project management, business development, sales and marketing. Mr. Mathews was previously a shareholder and President of China Systems (Americas) Corporation. Prior to setting up this office, Mr. Mathews was Vice President of Marketing for China Systems based in their Taiwan headquarters and was with the firm for seven years. Mr. Mathews successfully led efforts to provide superior sales and marketing support to China Systems international network of agents. He also established and oversaw the Quality Assurance and Documentation Departments. During his tenure, Mr. Mathews was heavily involved in product development and design of software applications. He joined China Systems after working in the international department of Rainier National Bank (now US Bank) in Seattle.
David Tsai, Vice President Engineering
Mr. Tsai has over 20 years of experience in application development and management of engineering teams. He has demonstrated expertise in conceptual and architectural engineering design and project management. Prior to GTS, Mr. Tsai was Manager of Research & Development for China Systems. He oversaw a team of programmers and the successful development of the first client-server version of the China Systems’ core trade finance application, EXIMBILLS. Mr. Tsai also established China Systems development offices in both Nanjing and Beijing, China. Earlier, Mr. Tsai was a systems analyst at Tseng Labs, a Taiwan-based hardware components manufacturer. Mr. Tsai is the author of General Ledger System Programming by David Tsai and John Lio and Dr. Compiler 804 Primary by David Tsai; both published by Bonanza International Computer Co. 1989. He is a graduate of the Chinese Cultural University and holds a BS in International Trade.
